Application fee: € 100**

The registration is considered complete only once the registration fee has been paid. If application is accepted, a refund of the registration fee is not possible under any circumstances. The registration fee will be refunded if the application is not accepted by the Althofen Masterclasses.

 

The course fee is to be paid after confirmation of participation by May 31, 2024 at the latest.

From May 31, 2024 the course tuition can only be reimbursed in proven cases of force majeure (e.g. illness, accident, death in the family, etc.). In no case will the application fee be refunded if the applicant has already been accepted to the masterclass!

Travel

Althofen is easily reachable by car as well as public transport.

 

Traveling by car, you take the exit Althofen off the B317 arriving in Althofen via the Friesacher Straße (approaching from the north) or the Eisenstraße (approaching from the south). Parking spots are available at the accommodation.

 

Traveling by train, you need to get off at the train station Treibach-Althofen. Railjets and suburban railways stop there regularly, giving you the opportunity to travel directly from the Vienna main train station (Hauptbahnhof Wien) to Treibach-Althofen. From there you can reach your accommodation and the music school, where the courses take place, by foot. For information on timetables and tickets please visit https://www.oebb.at/en/.

 

Traveling by airplane, the nearest airport is Airport Klagenfurt, where you can take a 45min. train-ride to Treibach-Althofen. Also from the Vienna International Airport you can quite comfortably get to Treibach-Althofen by train via the Vienna main train station.

For individual transport of any kind (taxi, excursions, etc.) we can recommend our local mobility partner Hofstätter Reisen.

Please note that for the entire Althofen Masterclasses and concerts the then current official measures against COVID-19 apply to all participants. 

 

We appeal to the self-responsibility of all participants. Unvaccinated participants need to present a current official Covid-19-test each time in order to participate in courses and concerts.

 

A mindful working environment and cooperation is generally encouraged in all participants. Therefore, the following measures may be implemented if necessary:

 

  • Keep a distance of 2 meters to others whenever possible

  • wear a FFP2 mask/face cover 

  • use the provided disinfectants

 

 

In case of regulatory cancellation, course tuition will be refunded.
